How Eloqua Marketing Software Leverages Social, Mobile & an Apps Ecosystem

Eloqua continues a theme of social, mobile and apps. Joe Payne, Eloqua CEO, explains how the company's marketing software is leveraging social media and achieving social marketing objectives with features such as social sign-on, social identity, social sharing and internal social network collaboration (using Salesforce.com Chatter), even enabling campaigns to push alerts and notifications to sales and marketing staff. He also shares how Eloqua marketing automation software is advancing mobile marketing for email distributions to mobile devices and enabling anytime/anywhere access and management. The company that coined the term "marketing automation software" has also leveraged its open APIs to build an application eco-system, and expects to expand this online marketplace. Finally, coming off the Eloqua IPO, Joe advises how $90M of new proceeds may be used, including possible technology acquisitions.
